Mikel French preached again on the morning service of December 9th. Before his sermon the worship team created a special mood. The dancing group from Odessa showed God-given talents and performed a choreographic composition called "Fallen tear." Poetess Elena Nesmeyan recited her poem "New people," which was devoted to people who go, drive, and get over distances following Christ: "In the world where heart is cold new people make history. Without descent, without a tribe, new people bear enlightenment…"
The senior pastor of the Victory Church Henry Madava appealed to everybody to start praying and to stand "between the living and the dead," pleading for our cities, for Ukraine, Russia, Europe, and for people's salvation.
Before Mikel French made his speech, James Huey praised the Lord with several songs. It was very interesting to watch how our worship team joined James in singing and repeated the phrases in Russian or English. It was as if they had done it many times. Truly, we saw what the psalmist meant when he said: "May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you" (Psalm 67:4); "Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples" (Psalm 117:1). Mikel French continued with what he had said the day before in the evening – about transformation and God’s Word. "Our life with God can be divided into two periods: at first we enter into God’s Kingdom, and then God’s Kingdom enters into us," pastor Mikel began his sermon from this point. "And if the first part is expression of God’s love, the second part is the demonstration of sanctity and the result of our communication with God, our growth in Him, and our transformation. The more we learn about Jesus, the more He grows in us."

Then Mikel French focused the public attention on the problem of the church which could be converted into a club if Christians forget about their mission to stop keeping God's Glory to ourselves and to start sending it out. It is very important for Christians not to forget that they are fighting for eternity. It is the time for God’s Glory, which comes at the moments of the highest pressure. It is not by accident that the number of Christian churches has increased in many countries against the background of global economic crisis. The same can happen in the life of every believer: a person can have a few problems or go through a crisis, however, we should remember that God is not against us. He is for us. "God is great in ministering to people who overcome their problems,” Mikel French said in conclusion of his sermon. Then he asked to move forward those who had a deep yearning for the demonstration of God’s Glory in their lives and who wanted to worship Him. He laid his hands on them.
