Pastor’s Christmas Tree Service in Victory church

On Saturday, January, 8 a children’s Christmas holiday was organized in Victory church known as Pastor’s Christmas Tree Service! Due to huge crowd of people wished to attend the service it was held twice at 12:00 and 3PM. Both times the auditorium was packed – a lot of children visited performance together with their parents or relatives.

A Christian animated cartoon was shown before the spectacle on the huge screens placed near the stage. Heroes of the Christmas performance set out on a fascinating journey. On the Talent Station there were songs and dancing. Children rejoiced, jumped and had there fun accordingly. Then live audience moved to a Gameland Station where boys, girls and their parents played with huge balloons.

In the dreamland children tried to find out what is the purpose of Christmas. Maybe to get Christmas presents? Or maybe to have an additional vacation? That’s the way adults answered their question. No! «Christmas is when our Savior Jesus Christ is born!» - the truth was delivered from the mouth of a child. Afterwards live audience enjoyed a fascinating puppet show about Jesus` birth and then Henry Madava, Senior Pastor of Victory church delivered to the audience his Christmas wishes and Christmas message.

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” – Pastor read the scripture from the gospel of Mathew. He explained both children and adults how we can receive this gift of salvation and keep our relationships with Jesus Christ.

Various ministries of the Victory church were involved in the service: Planet of Children ministry, a ministry of teenagers, youth ministry, dance ministry, and Narnia show-ballet. Every child got his Christmas present after the performance.

But the best present of all for both children and adults who attended Pastor’s Christmas Tree Service is that everyone of them got the true meaning of Christmas: A Savior is born unto us!
