Culminating day of the Time for Breakthrough Conference
This Sunday has become a concluding chord in the symphony of praise and worship to the Lord, which has become a conference dedicated to 18-year anniversary of Victory church in Kiev, Ukraine. Praise and worship team set the tone of the morning service. «Fill the Earth with Your Glory!» – echoed the auditorium to singers. Then Olga Kramarenko sang a hymn «You created the world», dedicating this song to the Creator of all the living, to the King of heaven and earth. Singers from the Psalmist School of Music continued to praise Jesus, thanking Him for changing their lives, and filling it with his joy and love. Afterwards dancers from Narnia show ballet brought people happiness by their inflammatory dance.
In their testimonies people said that God is faithful: He saves, heals, gives strength, disposes people’s hearts to cover other people’s needs. Pastor Olga Emets called unto God in her prayer, so that maturity came to the church and so that God’s fire would always blazed in pastor’s heart for him to follow God’s call in his life. Just like a continuation of this prayer pastor Henry Madava has started his sermon with words: «There can’t be a breakthrough without God’s assistance». But before his sermon pastor frankly thanked all who participated in the conference.
Henry Madava reminded us, that Christianity is not a feeling, but a decision to follow God always and walk by his Word. That’s why we should live each day like this is our last day. It’s important do not neglect any opportunity to give joy and good to someone who needs it and especially to the poor and to the unfortunate. Moreover Jesus himself identifies Himself with such people. «We, Christians should never forget that when we are helping the poor, reducing somebody’s pain, we are doing good and this pleases Jesus, - pastor preached. – The responsibility of the church is to save nations, which are dying from starvation and to notice needs of those, who may not survive without our help. We’ve built palaces and do not let anyone to enter in, we closed our hearts to the sorrow of others. That’s not the way it should be! To give to the poor is to lend to God, is there any bank that is more trustworthy than Heavenly Bank?»
It’s says in James 2:22 “…faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected”, that’s why at the end of the morning service pastor prayed so that we were those who bring an answer to other people’s needs.
At the afternoon service which started at 2PM, youth praise & worship team kindled all attendees by their songs and dances. Praise from the mouth of children was especially touching: they praised Him for the joy of having this day given by God. Adults has sang along with them and rejoiced like children. Afterwards Elena Korneichenko sang a song «The Ocean of God’s Love» about the Love of God and that all of us need to have it to give it away to the world.
Pastor Sergey Kabanitsa from Sevastopol spoke that we are doomed to abundance if we understand that success comes by the work of our hands. We shouldn’t be lazy and trust God and He’ll find the way to bless us. «Impossible will become possible, if we flow in what God has called us to», - the preacher said. Pastor Henry Madava summed up everything was spoken during the conference by the words: «Let everything lighted up in your hearts will come true and let the time for breakthrough will never expire!»
