Revival meetings with Evangelist Richard Moore were held at the Victory Christian Church for four days: from September 16 to September 19, 2010. The phrase "Never be the same" was the rallying point of the final, fifth, revival meeting, which started on the afternoon of September 19. Before the sermon brother Richard asked those who received healing during previous services to come forward. More than 10 people testified the glory of God and told how God delivered them from pain and various diseases.
The speaker raised several important topics in his sermon. He spoke about the honor we must show to God by our gifts. As an example, he cited an episode from the Gospel of Matthew in which a woman poured a precious ointment on Jesus' head. Jesus should take the first place in our lives in the same way as He took the most precious place in the life of that woman.
Next Richard Moore put our attention to the fact that fear should not control any decisions in the life of a believer. That is why we should surround ourselves with people of faith and be with those who "are not afraid to leave the boat." God has a plan for us: this is life in its fullness, prosperity, and free from disease. If we go to the purpose God has called us for, He will be close and will give us a victory.
There was a special presence of the Holy Spirit in the house during the whole meeting. Explaining the things which happened on the meeting, Richard Moore said that the same things happened on the day of Pentecost, as we read in the Book of Acts of the Apostles. When the inhabitants of Jerusalem saw the Christians filled with the Holy Spirit, they said that those people were drunk, but this was the wine of the Holy Spirit. In the same way everyone can drink this wine today.
At the end of the service, the well-known evangelist and his wife laid hands on everyone who desired and prayed for them. The people lined up in several lines.
At the very beginning of his sermon, Richard Moore said that he would return to America with great joy because he saw a great thirst for God in Ukraine. He wishes Americans could have the same desire to know the Lord. The last service in Kiev demonstrated that a large number of believers had responded to the God's call: "And the Spirit and the bride say: The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life." (Rev. 22:17).
